About the Monthly Subscription

The Chinese Weightlifting School is an online community for weightlifters who want to improve their technique and make PRs in the snatch, clean & jerk, and related exercises.

With this monthly subscription, you can train 4 days per week and you’ll get immediate access to:

  • Exercise Video Guidance: you’ll get instructional demo videos to guide your practice and make execution easy
  • Mentorship: this school isn’t just us delivering content to you, but also engaging with you through feedback, accountability, and guidance to help you lift your best. 
  • Customization: you’ll receive tailored training intensities based on your maximums to provide a customized Chinese weightlifting experience.
  • Community: you’ll have a support network of fellow athletes and coaches to discuss ideas and share your training progress.
  • Filter: with the abundance of online information, we help you take new information, break it down, and figure out how to apply it.
  • Confidence: many athletes and coaches question themselves as they try to improve. We program on the backend and upload training to the mobile app so you can focus on performance.

Who is this Olympic Weightlifting Program For?

The 4-Day Chinese weightlifting program is best suited for those that have an intermediate level of training experience. Ideal for competitors with limited experience and athletes who need dedicated strength days to increase their total. Sessions are 90 – 120 min.

The Weightlifting Program

All online Chinese weightlifting programs start in a customized Chinese weightlifting calculator allowing for clear long-term planning and goal setting. Here is a breakdown of the 4-day Olympic weightlifting program:

All Chinese weightlifting programs train technique, speed, strength, movement capacity, and GPP (General Physical Preparedness) to different degrees, and every week within a given mesocycle has a theme with the intent to bring an athlete closer to goals set for the month:

After finishing the planning process, the training is uploaded to the mobile app for you to execute:

General FAQ

  • How much coaching will I get?
    • Coaches will check-in daily to provide feedback and answer questions, but you will not get individual feedback every day. You can also receive help and support from your teammates.
  • Do I get video technique reviews?
    • Yes. You can post training videos whenever you want, but you will not get feedback on every video. You can expect a response to your videos 1 – 2 times per week.
  • Is the program customized for me?
    • Each Chinese weightlifting program is a single program for the team, but you can select your training frequency and the program will calculate your weights based on your maximums. Additionally, your coach can suggest minor modifications when appropriate.
  • Can I combine this with another program or CrossFit?
    • Maybe. You can choose a lower training frequency if you want to add CrossFit training on other days; however, if your added training interferes with your weightlifting, then you might need to adjust your training plan.
  • What happens when the training cycle ends after 12 weeks?
    • This programming is interactive. Future training cycles will account for the experience and feedback of the team.
  • Can I cancel at any time?
    • Yes, but keep in mind that programs are perpetual and billed monthly the same as any other online subscription. As the consumer, you need to cancel prior to your monthly renewal. To cancel, please follow these instructions: 
      1. Visit the Teambuildr page while using a web browser.
      2. Log into your Teambuildr account using your account credentials.
      3. Access your account info by clicking the icon in the top right corner of your screen.
      4. Select the “Subscription” tab from the drop-down menu. 
      5. Select the “Cancel” button and confirm when you’d like your cancellation to be processed.
  • Can I get a refund?
    • Digital sales are final, but you can cancel any time.
  • Can I upgrade my program?
    • You can always upgrade to another online Chinese weightlifting program. For example 4 Days to 5 Days. However, at this time you cannot move down to a lesser plan without canceling and resubscribing.
  • How can I contact support?

    Très content de cette planification de 12 semaines, l’ondulation de l’intensité et du volume dans la semaine et tout le long des microcycles m’a été très bénéfique : ma fatigue a été très facile à gérer et les progrès ont été au rendez-vous. Je me suis trouvé très à l’aise avec les entraînements, jamais en surcharge, toujours comme il faut. Je n’aime pas les planifications trop variées en termes d’exercices car j’ai besoin de me concentrer sur des points clés de façon régulière et de ce côté c’était aussi très bien : varié mais avec assez de récurrence pour se construire un focus efficace, qui ne s’éparpille pas.

    J’ai particulièrement aimé l’évolution du squat tout le long de la planification : beaucoup d’accent sur le tempo en excentrique, cela permet de travailler le placement et de progresser en charge sans le sentir.

    Je recommande vivement cette programmation, d’autant que l’app Teambuildr est très bien.
